Tips on Washing Your Car

Washing your car will help you avoid having car stains on your upholstery. There is a good chance that you have dirt and grime built up there. It is a good idea to clean your car before you ever start using it again.

Think of where the dirtiest dirt on your automobile comes from. Think of it like washing your face. You would first use the regular soap on your face and then use the special shampoo to wash your head.

The same can be said for your vehicle as well. Start by washing your wheels and the tires then move down to the interior and finish with the top. Most carwash professionals will recommend that you do a full wash with the recommended cleaning solution and soap, then wax. For the top, it is advised to use a microfiber towel to gently blot and rinse off the dirt.

After washing your vehicle, you may find that it is a bit wet. If so, you should use a washer to dry it out, but do not over-wet it. Washing your car on the grass or in a parking lot is a bit drier than washing it in the sun.

Before you start actually washing your car, you should read the manufacturer’s instructions for washing your car. Most manufacturers recommend that you let your vehicle sit in an enclosed garage during the wash. This helps to keep all the dirt from the paint. Most people prefer to let their vehicle sit overnight in the garage rather than washing it in the sun.

While you are washing your car in the sun, you may find that some of the dirt comes out. To make the job easier, it is recommended that you purchase a few plastic buckets that are labeled with washing in one bucket and soapy water in another. The buckets will make it much easier to rinse away all the extra dirt as you work. You may want to get rubber gloves so that you do not put any pressure on your hands while rinsing off the dirt.

When you are done washing your car, you should follow up with a detailing spray and detailing clay. The detailing spray helps to protect the paint from getting dirty quickly. Detailing clay will help to get rid of small blemishes and spots. It also helps to give your paint a glossy finish.

These steps will help to keep your vehicle clean and free of brake dust and road grime. If you do not feel comfortable doing the washing yourself, you can always call in a professional auto detailer to do the job for you. If you decide to go that route, be sure to check around and find a good auto detailing service near you. They will probably offer a guarantee on their work, which will mean that they have done plenty of detailing jobs in the area and can get the job done right the first time.

Here is how the actual washing of your cargoes. First, you take your microfiber towels and dampen them down with water. Use your sponge to massage the towel all over the inside and outside of the vehicle. Once you have done this, you will then take a soft-bristled brush and scrub the exterior of the car. Be very careful when you are washing your brakes because if you scrub the wrong areas you could damage the paint.

Be careful when you are washing paint because if you scrub too hard it could cause the paint to chip. You do not want to try and remove the entire thing with one shot of the brush. What you want to do is make sure you get out as much of the scrubbing and debris as possible with the brush. When you have removed as much as possible, you should rinse the towel off and then use a new one. Repeat this process until you have removed every last bit of dirt and grime.

Next, you will want to use the glass cleaner. This glass cleaner works wonders on removing all kinds of grime, dirt, and grime from the inside of your car. When you spray it on the glass, it will start to work immediately and you do not even have to touch the scrubber on the car.

After you have completed all of this you will be able to start washing your car without having to worry about water leaking everywhere or seeing any wet spots. All that was left was to dry the entire car wet. To finish off the job, you will want to spray the finish cleaner all over again and let it sit for about five minutes before you buff it off. When you do this, you will not have to worry about getting your hands wet and you will not have to worry about the finish coming off if you accidentally touch it with your bare hand.
